Drivers Jonas LLP retained to OGC Estates
DJ has been reappointed to the Office of Government Commerce (OGC) Estates Professional Services Framework for a further four years commencing 14 September. This is DJ's third successful retender for appointment to this framework.
The OGC Framework allows appointed firms to capitalise on public sector estates advisory - an consistently strong area for DJ with approximately 40 per cent of fee income in recent years having been derived from public sector clients.
Nick Shepherd, managing partner of Drivers Jonas LLP, says: "Our reappointment is testament to the continued advisory services offered by the various sectors within DJ. We hold a number of key public sector frameworks and contracts which will be central to our performance in the year ahead in the UK." DJ hold a number of Framework contracts with key government organisations, including OGCbuying.solutions, Office of Government Commerce, Defence Estates, Home Office, Department for Work and Pensions, Ministry of Justice and Her Majesty's Court Service.
Throughout the period under the previous EPS framework DJ has engaged over 140 clients and completed over 500 commissions on their collective behalf.
Shepherd continues: "Firms that think they can dive into public sector work when the going gets tough are misguided - public sector procurement is a great deal more sophisticated than it used to be, and the part-timers will be spotted a mile off."
The Framework is available to all public sector bodies and services will be advertised generally under the framework and directly to the public sector.
