King Sturge helps to secure new Glasgow depot for Graham's Dairies

King Sturge, acting on behalf of Graham's Dairies has secured 2.91 acres of land at Keppochill Road, in the city's Port Dundas area as the site of a new depot, to supply milk and other dairy products to Glasgow and the surrounding areas.

The new depot is set to provide a jobs boost for the area, as more than 40 delivery drivers and office staff will be based there and more are to be recruited.

Robert Graham Jnr, managing director of Graham's Dairies said: "The new depot at Port Dundas provides us with a central location in Glasgow. The city and its surrounding areas are an important market for us and our new depot will enable us to further enhance our high standards of customer service. Port Dundas is a welcome addition to our network of regional depots in Ayrshire, Fife, and Angus, all of which are essential in allowing us to provide customers with a localised service."

Cass Hibbert, associate at King Sturge, said: "The site at Port Dundas offers Graham's an ideal central location for the new depot. The site benefits from excellent communication links which will assist Graham's business objectives."

Family dairy Graham's was established in 1939 and has grown into Scotland's largest independent dairy firm and the UK's seventh biggest milk processor.
