Creevy LLH sells Edinburgh city centre public house
Creevy LLH has sold the leasehold interest at Halo Public House, 3 Melville Street, Edinburgh, in an excellent trading location within the city's core licensed circuit.
Peter Darroch, director of Creevy LLH, says that Halo, a contemporary public house, has been sold to a local operator on confidential terms.
Halo is finished to a first-class standard throughout. There is seating for approximately 30 persons over the ground, with attractive modern lighting, timber lined flooring and fabric padded walls. In addition, there are extensive service areas including a fully fitted kitchen, customer toilets, a beer cellar, offices and various stores.
Historically, the business generated a high level of sales and profitability and Mr. Darroch comments that the level of interest was significant. "Throughout the marketing campaign, we had considerable interest and a high number of viewers which resulted in a successful conclusion of the sale."
Creevy LLH believes the market for leasehold and freehold public houses in Scotland is unprecedented, with a large number of purchasers but very few available quality properties.
Mr. Darroch adds: "We have a large database of potential purchasers for leasehold and freehold licensed property, not only in Edinburgh but throughout Scotland. We require other good quality leasehold and freehold public houses, restaurants and other licensed premises to meet these requirements."
