Aberdeen's Crombie Mills development completed

Scotland's premier small office developer has reached practical completion at Crombie Mills, one of its prime sites just outside Aberdeen.

The success of this site by Business Homes CALA Limited reinforces the continued strong demand for out-of-town office locations and the current shortage of high quality space in the region.

Conveniently located on the outskirts of the largest commercial centre in the Grampian region, Crombie Mills benefits from excellent transport links into the city centre and national motorway network, and is less than 5 miles away from Aberdeen?s international airport.

Each two storey building is built to Grade A specification, finished to the highest standard, and is offered with 10 year warranties on the quality of build, giving both investors and tenants peace of mind. Occupiers also benefit from the installation of state-of-the-art 24 hour security systems, as well as bespoke IT/telecoms solutions as standard, providing high speed internet access.

Whilst all three buildings have been sold to either investors or owner-occupiers, just one 3,051 sq ft unit remains on a leasehold basis priced from £16.50 per sq ft.

However for investors or businesses looking to secure a freehold building, similar success can be found nearby at its sister site located at Twin Spires Business Park on Mugiemoss Road, just minutes from the airport. This development comprises eight office buildings ranging from 3,054 sq ft to 6,164 sq ft, and whilst over half of the units have been sold, four buildings are still available on either a freehold or leasehold basis.

Commenting, Brian Robinson, Managing Director for Business Homes CALA Ltd said: "The level of enquiries continues to be high, particularly from businesses wishing to move out of the city centre into more cost effective modern facilities with on-site car parking.

"Occupiers at both sites can be assured of good company and will be rubbing shoulders with the influential oil and gas industries, which have taken up office space within the vicinity."

Purpose built telecoms and I.T. solutions and state of the art security systems mean a fully bespoke service for proprietors and tenants alike.

Business Homes is continuing to expand its portfolio in Scotland and is currently developing similar schemes at East Kilbride, Dunfermline, Livingston and near Edinburgh.
