Town Centre Securities win further award for Liverpool mixed use development
Mixed use development pioneers, Town Centre Securities, have received further acclaim as their £250M Piccadilly Basin scheme beat off stiff competition to win the prestigious 'Mixed Use Development of the Year' award at the 2008 North West Property Awards at the ACC, Liverpool.
Earlier this month, the development also received two of Manchester City Council's Built in Quality Awards, the latter a special commendation for environmental sustainability. These latest awards follow on from the 2007 'Mixed Use Award for Excellence' Piccadilly Basin received at the inaugural Property Executive Development Awards.
Development Director for Town Centre Securities, Richard Lewis, says; "To have the dedication and hard work of the team at Piccadilly Basin recognised through awards such as these is fantastic. We are incredibly proud of what we continue to achieve at this unique scheme both in terms of quality of offering and our commitment to the green agenda. 2008 is progressing into an exciting year with Carver's Warehouse now complete, the BDP designed building rapidly following suit and work set to commence on the next phase of the scheme, the Retail Village.
