HOCHTIEF to operate an additional 47 schools in England
The Group's subsidiary HOCHTIEF Facility Management UK Ltd. will perform the technical and infrastructural building management at 47 schools in the Northwest of England for a period of approximately 25 years. The clients are four project companies of investment fund Land Securities Trillium (LST). The contract represents a volume of more than GBP 200 million (EUR 300 million) over its entire term.
With this project, the Essen-based Group further expands its market presence in the UK and Ireland: In these countries, HOCHTIEF Facility Management and its now more than 800-strong workforce are currently operating, among others, the Wright Robinson College in Manchester, the National Biomanufacturing Centre in Liverpool and recently also started operating two sites for Dell UK in Glasgow and Bracknell. HOCHTIEF PPP Solutions, also a member of the HOCHTIEF Group, even has become one of today's top 5 players in the UK and Irish PPP education sector, where it is operating 22 schools for more than 20,000 pupils.
