Alder King secures a retail unit for Marie Curie Cancer Care
Alder King has secured a retail unit of 1,200 sq ft for Marie Curie Cancer Care at 36 Darley Street in Bradford.
The charity has taken a lease assignment from Country Casuals for a term expiring November 2011, at a passing rent of £19,250 per annum.
This new acquisition is part of the charity's UK wide expansion programme. The shop is part of a nationwide network which raises funds so that Marie Curie Cancer Care can provide free nursing care to cancer patients and those who are terminally ill, allowing them to remain in their own homes during their treatment.
Nigel Gibbons, partner at Alder King commented: "This shop will be an essential part of Marie Curie's fundraising campaign and the revenue from it will help to support cancer patients and their families across the UK. We are sure it will be very popular with local customers and Marie Curie supporters."
Alder King acted on behalf of Marie Curie Cancer Care and is their sole acquisition agent across the UK. CBRE Richard Ellis acted on behalf of Country Casuals.
