Aberdeen relocation for CB Richard Ellis
Leading property consultant CB Richard Ellis (Scotland) has confirmed its successful relocation to new premises in Aberdeen due to significant growth over the past year, following the acquisition of Paul Gee & Co in February 2008.
The new office, located at 3 Queens Terrace, is still in the heart of Aberdeen's professional business district but provides better access to the city centre amenities. A change from the previous multi-level traditional office (situated at 54 Queens Gardens), the new office is on a single floor and has an open plan extension to the rear. The space extends to 2,660 sq ft (247 sq m) and includes four private car parking spaces.
This is a significant move for the company following the acquisition of Paul Gee & Co by CBRE in February 2008. Over a year later the firm is well established as a leading player in Scotland's fastest-growing commercial property market. As a result of the acquisition, the team has doubled in size and has enjoyed considerable success in the region.
Mike Robertson, Managing Director, CBRE Aberdeen, commented: "Since the acquisition last year we have been able to take advantage of more opportunities in the marketplace. We have brought together our existing local market knowledge and reputation, including a specialism in the oil and gas sector, with global expertise and resource to create a high quality offering to our clients.
"Our new office will provide us with important business benefits and will allow our team to take advantage of being closer to more amenities, as well as the added benefits of having an open plan office. The new office will also provide better prospects for further growth in line with our ambitions."
