Knight Frank let Glasgow office to 1 Call Direct
Acting on behalf of Miller Developments, Knight Frank has let the first floor office suite at 116 West Regent Street, Glasgow to 1 Call Direct, an existing tenant who already occupies the 6,000 sq ft ground floor suite in the building.
The first floor, which extends to 3,669 sq ft, has been let on the basis of a five year FRI lease at a rental of £16.50 per sq ft. The tenant has also agreed to take one secure basement car parking space.
Miller Developments has carried out an extensive refurbishment programme in the building to return the first and second floor suites to an open plan layout as well as refurbishing the main entrance lobby. This area has been fully modernised and redecorated with a new entrance, disabled access and a new commissionaire desk. In addition, a disabled toilet and a shower room have been provided at lower ground floor level serving the whole building.
Michael Facenna, senior surveyor, Knight Frank said: "Our client is delighted to have secured 1 Call Direct for additional space within the building. The fact that they have signed up for another five years is testament to the quality of the refurbishment that has been carried out. 116 West Regent Street offers good quality space with an excellent car parking ratio and we are confident of securing further tenants for the second and sixth floors in the near future."
Keith Mackie, development manager, Miller Developments commented: "This Glasgow based company is growing fast and the quality of our refurbishment has encouraged them to expand within the building as opposed to moving elsewhere."
