Abbeyfield Estates announce further lettings in Mansfield

Abbeyfield Estates are pleased to announce following the letting of the 2,600 sq ft Unit 3 to Maylite Industries only two units totalling 7,000 sq ft remain.

Having acquired the site in 2007 Abbeyfield Estates have redeveloped the site to provide a range of seven warehouse/industrial units totalling 33,000 sq ft, together with a purpose built trade counter development totalling 25,000 sq ft overlooking the main access point at Hermitage Lane in Mansfield.

Andy Smith at Innes England said: "We continue to see good demand for quality industrial accommodation especially in this area where the transport links are so good.

"Abbey Park has continued to attract interest from a range of occupiers and we are delighted with the letting to Maylite which mean now only 2 units are left and we have strong interest in both. Lettings at the units have all achieved the asking rent and all have been let for a minimum 5 year term.

"At the adjacent Abbey Trade Park, Screwfix who occupy two units of 10,000 sq ft are soon to be joined by two additional occupiers at this high quality purpose built development. I am sure the last two remaining units will attract early interest."

In addition King Sturge have been appointed joint agents on the Trade Park element of the scheme, James Keeton commented " We are very please to me working with Abbeyfield Estates on this exciting scheme, we are able to accommodate a broad range of trade counter requirements in a location qualified by high profile operators already successfully trading."

James Hall, Surveyor at DTZ added: "Abbey Park has been a success due to the quality of the development, flexible size range and its accessibility to the Mansfield Ashfield Regeneration Route, Mansfield and J28 of the M1."
