DTZ to manage Grosvenor's Edinburgh Technopole development

DTZ has secured a prestigious instruction to manage Grosvenor's 126-acre world-class science and technology park, Edinburgh Technopole.

Edinburgh Technopole is an ongoing development which when fully completed will offer 500,000 sq ft research and office space. The park currently consists of three modern buildings offering a flexible solution for office and laboratory uses and serviced offices in a Grade A-listed building.

There are over twenty companies based at Edinburgh Technopole, a low-density development in a mature parkland setting which conserves the landscape of the original estate.

DTZ's property management team has been appointed by developer Grosvenor to oversee estate and park management, security, external landscaping and maintenance, building services and support to occupiers and tenants. The team will also manage the wider park, including a woodland walk which is open to the public.

Judy George of DTZ said: "This appointment to manage Edinburgh Technopole Science Park is testament to the strength and depth of our team in Scotland. We will be focusing on opportunities to generate additional income for the park, achieving cost savings within the service charge budget, as well as delivering a first-class service for current and future tenants."

Donna Cameron of Grosvenor said: "DTZ are well-placed to advise on the management of Edinburgh Technopole having been involved as letting agents since its inception. We appointed DTZ as they were able to demonstrate that their management team will achieve cost savings whilst maintaining a high level of service for our tenants."

DTZ's property management team is the largest in Scotland with more than 30 staff based across its Glasgow and Edinburgh offices.
