King Sturge secure two new retail tenants in Hull
King Sturge has secured two new lettings at Aviva's Queens House in Hull to Shoe Zone and The Real Sandwich Co, leading to the scheme - which totals 39 units - being 93% let.
Shoezone has taken a 2,500 sq ft unit at 49 Jameson Street for £67,500 per annum, while The Real Sandwich Co. has signed for 450 sq ft at 53 Jameson Street at £25,000 per annum.
They replace the previous tenants Rosebys and The Original Pasty Company who fell into receivership.
Jonathan Newns, In-Town Retail Partner at the Leeds office of King Sturge, comments: "These transactions show that there are still retailers seeking to secure space and that we are well positioned to minimise landlords' voids in these tough economic times."
Jonathan Newns and Richard Padley of King Sturge were the two agents involved on behalf of Aviva.
Ramsdens represented Shoezone and The Real Sandwich Co represented themselves.
